An online membership of movement classes, drawing on DNS principles to restore your body’s natural blueprint for movement—helping you feel resilient, adaptable and strong in everything they do.
By reconnecting with our earliest developmental patterns and increasing awareness of how we move through space, we begin to rebuild from the inside out.
The result?
Greater physical freedom
Injury resilience and recovery
Confidence to pursue the activities and adventures that matter most
This is about more than just exercise—it's about reclaiming how your body is meant to move: stable, adaptable, and powerful for life.
DNS stands for Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation and comes from the Prague School of Rehabilitation (a melting pot of some of the best and most renowned rehabilitation specialists). DNS is based on how healthy babies naturally develop movement - rolling, crawling, sitting, squatting - patterns they practice over time to perfect their coordination, stability and control.
For all of us, these are our most fundamental movement patterns. These patterns form the basis of our movement template, it is ingrained within our brain and central nervous system.
It's our hardwiring.
These classes are inspired by DNS principles but are not official DNS courses. For official DNS education please visit the Prague School of Rehabilitation.

a husband and wife team passionate about movement, health, and helping people feel confident in their bodies.
Bianca is a chiropractor with postgraduate paediatrics studies and extensive DNS training, and she’s the founder of Banksia Movement.
Darren is an osteopath, 20+ year Ashtanga yoga teacher, and also trained in DNS and other movement methods.
Together, we combine clinical expertise with real-world movement experience to help you build strength, stability, and resilience.
From yoga, surfing, and swimming to strength training, tennis, and everyday healthy living, we draw on a wide range of practices to create functional, effective, and enjoyable movement for every body.
Joining Bianca’s classes was life changing. My mindfulness has been awakened so I’m much more aware of how I’m moving, maintaining my alignment, as the course trains not just the body, but also the brain.
Breathing, flexibility and relaxation have improved and, being a “mature” student, I am now very confident about getting down to, and up off the floor in a safe manner.
Bianca is a delight - diligent, professional and understanding and although the lessons are not easy, the feeling afterwards and the lasting benefits make the challenge totally worthwhile. - Di

Are all the classes about DNS?
No — our classes are inspired by many movement styles, including strength, mobility, and yoga. While our DNS training influences how we structure movement, we are not teaching official DNS classes. Instead, we apply the principles we’ve learned to create safe, effective, and well-rounded sessions for all bodies.
How do I find a local DNS practitioner?
It is ideal to access a local practitioner/exercise trainer in your local area if possible. With a hands-on approach, your movement patterns will be best assisted. All fully certified practitioners and exercise trainers are listed on this website. https://www.rehabps.cz/rehab/certified_practitioners.php?zeme_var=Australia
There are also many practitioners/trainers who have undertaken much DNS training and education that may not be fully certified according to the Prague School requirements. You will need to do your own research here, within your local community. Ask around!
Can I unsubscribe/cancel payment plans?
If you have chosen a "flexible plan" the $12/week plan. The other plans have requirements around terms of usage.
